Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Sunset Point Townhomes and Sunset Point Properties (“we”) collect through this website, why, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers this website only.

Information you give us

Our request form asks for your first and last name and email address, and optionally your phone number, which plan and timeframe you are interested in, whether you are working with a real estate agent, and anything you type into the comments box. We also record which page you were on when you submitted, so the sales team knows what you were looking at.

Everything on those forms except your name and email address is optional. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, financial account numbers, government identifiers, or any sensitive personal information — there is no field on this site that needs them.

Information collected automatically

We run our own analytics rather than relying on a third party for the basics. It records the page visited, how long it was open, the domain of the site that referred you (not the full address), and a two-letter country code. To count a returning visit within a single day without identifying you, it derives a one-way hash from your IP address and a secret that rotates every 24 hours. Once that day passes, the hash cannot be linked back to you or to the previous day’s hash by us or by anyone else. It sets no cookie.

Your IP address is also used momentarily, and not stored, to rate-limit form submissions so the site cannot be used to send junk.

Cookies

This site sets one kind of cookie: a session cookie for members of the sales team who sign in to the private dashboard. If you are simply browsing the public pages, this site sets no cookies and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Do Not Track

If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal we honour it and record nothing at all. Nothing on this site depends on analytics working, so turning it off costs you no functionality.

How we use what we collect

To answer your questions, arrange tours, send availability and pricing updates you have asked for, and understand which parts of the site people find useful. That is the whole list.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or automated profiling. We do not share it with other developers, brokerages, or lead-generation companies.

Who else sees it

Only the people and services that have to:

• The Sunset Point sales team, and the builder and its agents where answering you requires it.
• Supabase, which hosts the database this site writes your inquiry to, and our website host, which runs the site itself. Both act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
• Resend, which delivers notification emails to members of our own team when an inquiry arrives. It is not used to email visitors.
• A lender, title company, or attorney, if you ask us to introduce you to one.
• Anyone we are legally required to disclose to — a court order, a lawful request from a public authority, or to protect someone’s safety or our legal rights.

Three parts of this site load content from other companies, which means your browser contacts them directly and they receive your IP address and the page you are on: the map on the location page (Mapbox), the 360° tour (Kuula), and the typefaces (Google Fonts). We do not send them anything about you beyond what your browser sends in the course of loading that content.

How long we keep it

Inquiries are kept while the community is actively selling and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can answer questions about a home you looked at or bought. Analytics records are aggregate and are not tied to a person after the day they were collected. If you ask us to delete your information we do so, subject to anything we must retain by law.

Your choices

Whether or not the law requires it of a community this size, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what information about you we hold, and give you a copy.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete it.
• Stop contacting you, entirely or by a particular method.

Email info@sunsetpointbrig.com or call 640-282-8062 and we will confirm your request and act on it within 45 days. We will not charge you or treat you differently for asking. If we decline, we will tell you why and you can ask us to reconsider by replying to that message. Every marketing email we send also carries an unsubscribe link, which takes effect immediately.

Security

Inquiries are stored in an access-controlled database; only signed-in members of the sales team can read them, and access is enforced by the database itself rather than by the website alone. Traffic to and from this site is encrypted. We collect no payment information through this website, so there is none to lose. No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise.

Children

This site is meant for adults shopping for a home. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will change the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be summarised here rather than made silently.
